Considering adhd medication for my food noise

2024/12/29 Edited to

... Read moreFood noise, often a distraction for individuals with ADHD, can impact your eating habits and overall health. Considerations surrounding ADHD medication for managing food noise are gaining traction. Many individuals report significant improvements in focus and attention, which can lead to healthier eating patterns. Research has shown that ADHD medications like stimulants can help decrease impulsivity and increase self-control during meals. This is especially beneficial for those who struggle with binge-eating behaviors or distractions coming from multiple food sources. Users often share their success stories in communities, lending credibility to the effective use of ADHD meds for food noise. However, it's crucial to consult with healthcare providers to understand the complete picture, including potential side effects and long-term impacts on mental well-being. Education around food noise and its relationship with ADHD is essential for making informed decisions, ensuring that medication is a component of a comprehensive approach to managing eating habits.

I start Strattera non stim adhd meds 4 days, but for different reasons. I noticed when I started to have kiss my peach non stim non caffeine at start of day with 16.9 ounces of cold water then wait 30 minutes before I eat. It really helped my gut and stopped my mental cravings and made it easier to prioritize no dairy no eggs and bleach wheat and processed sugar for most part all the things my body won’t respond well and I prioritize more Whole Foods and can explore alternatives to prioritize out if I am. I find myself actually able to sit up eat and less sleepiness in the day and when my body is telling me use restroom when to eat and I can consume more plain cold water without getting sick. I tried it three years ago when I got off progesterone only slynd and it helped a lot especially mood and energy this time around I see more benefits and different aspects I’ve been taking it again since August 8th. This of may not work for you but it’s pricey it does last me a while tho 🩷🩷
