What you need to knowAs a first time mom!!

Becoming a mother is a journey filled with excitement and uncertainty. As a first-time mom, you want the best for your little one, but you’re learning as you go and often without a full night’s sleep. It’s natural to have countless questions about what to expect after giving birth, and those questions will keep coming.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Leaving the hospital after giving birth can be intimidating.

2. Babies sometimes cry for no apparent reason. It’s also natural to feel unsettled by your baby’s cry.

3. It’s perfectly fine to give your baby a pacifier. Some babies take to them, and some don’t. If you choose to offer one, let your baby set the pace and don’t force it.

4. You can’t ever hold your baby “too much.”

5. Breastfeeding can be challenging.

6. Some babies just don’t sleep well.

7. Almost every mom experiences some form of postpartum baby blues.

8. Ask for help early and often, and don’t feel guilty about it.

9. Trust your maternal instincts.

... Read moreBecoming a first time mom is an incredible journey characterized by joy, challenges, and a steep learning curve. It often begins with the daunting experience of leaving the hospital, which can feel overwhelming. Many first-time moms encounter unexpected moments when their babies cry for no reason, adding to a sense of confusion and helplessness. This normal phase can be exacerbated by sleepless nights and a struggle with breastfeeding, which, while natural, may pose significant challenges. Postpartum baby blues are also common and can affect mental health; thus, it’s vital for mothers to acknowledge these feelings. Seeking help is crucial—don’t hesitate to ask family or friends for support, as it fosters a stronger emotional network and enhances your parenting experience. Trusting your instincts is essential; every mother knows instinctively what feels right for her baby. Those moments of bonding, like holding your baby close, are invaluable. A pacifier can be useful, but let your baby decide its need. Remember, the challenges you face are shared by many—embrace the journey, and know you are not alone.

don't feel bad for not being able to breastfeed or just not being able to handle it. there's nothing wrong with stopping your health both physically and mentally are just as important as babies
