We talk about Jesus like He exploded onto the scene fully formed. But the part that undoes me isn’t the miracles. It’s His humility. The eternal Word choosing to grow and learn. Working a regular job for decades in a small town. Thirty years of obedience before three years of visibility. And if that’s who Jesus is, then maybe becoming is holier than performing. Maybe hidden seasons are sacred. Maybe the quiet work of character matters more than we think.
