it’s rare to find a hawker stall that does both western and chinese food well, but this spot near mayflower mrt truly nails it 🍗🍝 they mainly specialise in western fare, yet also serve up a seriously solid plate of hokkien mee 😋
i tried a good mix of their signatures pork ribs, fish & chips, chicken chop, hokkien mee and chicken wings. they also sell HUGE lamb racks and steaks 🐑🥩 which i don’t usually go for, but i’ve heard many good things about them too 👀
my absolute favourite was the pork ribs 🐖🐷 the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and super well-marinated in a sweet and savoury BBQ sauce. fries came hot, crisp and perfectly fried 😋
the fish & chips was another standout 🤩 i was genuinely surprised they use fresh white fish instead of the usual frozen dory 🐟 the batter was light, allowing the flaky and tender fish to really shine ✨
their chicken wings were fantastic too 🍗 lightly battered, juicy on the inside, and each piece was HUGE so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth. it had that nostalgic, old-school flavour that’s so comforting 😊
