Let's be honest and let's be real

Have you ever been in a situation where you constantly felt like 'I'm the problem'? I know I have. For too long, I found myself in dynamics – whether with friends, family, or romantic relationships – where every issue, every disagreement, somehow circled back to me being at fault. It's an incredibly draining and damaging place to be, and honestly, it chipped away at my self-worth until there was barely anything left. But there comes a point where you have to draw a line in the sand. For me, that moment was realizing that 'NOBODY FINNA KEEP MAKING ME FEEL LIKE I'M THE PROBLEM' anymore. It was a powerful realization, a declaration to myself that my peace and mental health were non-negotiable. This isn't about blaming others entirely; I'm perfectly capable of admitting my wrongs when I've genuinely made a mistake. There's 'NO PROBLEM ADMITTING' where I fall short. However, being perpetually cast as 'the worst thing around' in any situation? That's where I had to say, 'enough is enough.' Learning to 'REMOVE MYSELF' from these draining connections wasn't easy. It required a lot of introspection and courage. It meant re-evaluating long-standing 'FAMILY' ties and friendships that, despite their history, were no longer serving my well-being. It meant understanding that sometimes, the most loving thing you can do for yourself is to create distance, even from those you care about deeply. I came to accept that 'I DON'T CARE ABOUT NO FAMILY,' 'I DON'T CARE ABOUT FRIENDS,' or certain 'RELATIONSHIPS' if they consistently make me question my value and sanity. This isn't coldness; it's self-preservation. Setting boundaries is about protecting your energy. It’s about recognizing your worth and refusing to let others diminish it. It’s a process, not a one-time event. You might face pushback, guilt trips, or even anger from those who benefited from your lack of boundaries. But remember, their reaction is about them, not you. Continue to 'KEEP IT MOVING.' My simple mantra became: 'IF YOU KNOW YOU SOME TYPE OF WAY TOWARDS ME, STAY AWAY FROM ME.' It’s straightforward, it’s honest, and it’s about reclaiming your power. Ultimately, this journey has taught me the true meaning of self-respect. It’s about understanding that you don't have to tolerate anything that makes you feel perpetually inadequate or responsible for others' happiness at the expense of your own. By choosing to 'REMOVE MYSELF FROM EVERYBODY LIFE' that is toxic, I've created space for healthier, more fulfilling connections. This isn't about being perfect; it's about being authentic and prioritizing your peace 'FROM THIS DAY FORWARD.' I hope my experience encourages you to do the same.
