6 daily habits that healed my gut

the #1 thing you can do for gut health is …

be consistent with the small everyday habits 🫶🏻

not everyone needs to do a gut health autoimmune protocol (only if you’re having severe symptoms)

& you can’t do that all the time bc it’s not sustainable!

here are small everyday habits for sustainable gut health:

1) hydrate before coffee & matcha! + eat breakfast! Caffeine on an empty stomach is hard on your stomach & adrenals. It can spike cortisol & dehydrate you.

Instead drink at least 16oz of water after waking up! You can add some lemon & chia seeds or trace minerals.

2) regulate your nervous system aka learn how to activate rest and digest ✨

•inhale through nose & hum on exhale to stimulate vagus nerve

• somatic movements

• dry brushing

• going on a walk

• putting your legs up on the wall

• breath work

• meditation & mindfulness

• co-regulateing with safe people

• setting down your phone !!!

3) dry brushing helps stimulate digestion & reduces bloating! Can also do abdominal massage!

4) buy more whole, less processed food! By doing this you avoid a lot of the ingredients that cause gut issues & you’re nourishing your gut microbiome!🍓

5) exercise daily! If you can’t get in a full workout, make sure you’re at least going on a walk & moving! Moving = increases blood flow which we need for healthy digestion.

6) cook more at home vs eating out every meal! This will help you avoid the inflammatory oils & preservatives used in fast food + helps you nourish your body with gut healthy ingredients ❤️‍🔥
