How to Properly Prevent Acne 🌿✨

I want to share the mistakes I made in my acne journey to help you avoid the same pitfalls 😊✨

✅ The 3-Step Acne Care Routine

1⃣ Proper Oil Control

Use oil-control products and setting powders daily. For sunscreen, choose a pure physical sunscreen to help with oil control. Periodically using a clay mask can help absorb excess oil, preventing its build-up and reducing acne formation.

2⃣ Light Moisturization

Oily skin beauties, stop using heavy moisturizers! When your skin is oily enough that you feel like washing your face 800 times a day, no need to apply greasy creams on top! Your natural oils already act as moisturizers. In winter, when it’s drier, just using a B5 serum for hydration will do the trick—hydrating without the extra greasiness.

3⃣ Cleansing

For oily acne-prone skin, cleansing is not just about washing the surface; you need to clear your pores to prevent blockages. I recommend using fat-soluble salicylic acid and mandelic acid, which can dissolve oil. Start with low-concentration acid products—they’re gentle yet effective in keeping your skin fresh and pores clear.

This acne cream has been my lifesaver during my long acne journey! 💖 Whenever I feel a pimple coming, I apply it directly on the spot. Always perform a patch test when trying new products to ensure they don’t aggravate your skin. Finally, maintaining a consistent skincare routine tailored to your skin type can dramatically reduce the frequency of acne flare-ups. Remember, patience is key, as it may take time to see significant improvements.
