Cranberry Brie Sourdough Pull-Apart Bread

• 1 large round sourdough loaf

• 8 oz brie cheese, sliced

• 1 cup fresh cranberries

• 1/3 cup granulated sugar

• 1/4 cup orange juice

• 1/2 tsp orange zest (optional)

• 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

• 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup

• 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional, for crunch)

• 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, for warm flavor)

Detailed Steps:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

2. Prepare Cranberry Sauce:

In a small saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and orange zest (if using). Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens (about 8–10 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

3. Prepare the Sourdough Loaf:

Place the sourdough loaf on the prepared baking sheet. Using a serrated knife, cut the loaf into a grid pattern (1-inch squares), making sure not to cut all the way through the bottom crust.

4. Stuff the Loaf:

Gently pry apart the bread pieces and stuff slices of brie into the cuts. Spoon the cranberry sauce into the cracks as evenly as possible. If using pecans, sprinkle them into the cracks as well.

5. Add Toppings:

Brush the melted butter over the top of the bread. Drizzle honey or maple syrup for sweetness and sprinkle cinnamon (if desired) for extra warmth

6. Bake:

Cover the bread loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the bread is crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve:

3. Should I put the lid on my small pot?

4. How long does it take cranberries to pop? And what do I do after they pop?
