UPDATE: Week 2: New Year, New Me…or Nah?

UPDATE: Week 2 of “New Year, New Me” is done, and let’s just say… it was a humbling experience. 😅

✅ Win: I actually ate smaller portions! (Progress, right?) AND lost 3 pounds!

❌ Struggles: Everything else. Low-carb? Nope. Organic? Not really. Portion control? Yes, but let’s not talk about the number of portions. 🤦‍♀️

Moral of the story: Change is HARD, but small wins still count. So here’s to a better Week 3!

Welp…Week 1 of my New Year, New Me Nutrition Goals is officially in the books.📕 Did I crush it? Meh. Did I survive and make progress? YES I did! Baby steps🦶sometimes. 🤷🏻‍♀️

✅ Wins: I ate less processed food, stayed (mostly) low-carb and didn’t eat an entire king cake (Louisiana struggles are real). I also prioritized my sleep 🛌 💤

⚠️ Struggles: Portion control…….because who actually eats just one serving of gumbo?

💭 Lesson Learned: Perfection isn’t the goal—consistency is. And also, cauliflower will NEVER be real rice. PERIOD.

You can do it just take one day at a time I eat small frequent meals now to the point where I just have coffee in the morning a salad for lunch and a snack and dinner. I’m so conditioned to not eating so it doesn’t really matter anymore I’ve lost a lot of weight. I also work at the gym.
