No more or Less. Make sure to spread the days out. Don’t work the glutes back to back days.
2) Lift Heavier
If you are doing floor workouts or workouts with just resistance bands then there is a low chance that you are going to get the type of gains you’re looking for. Lifting heavier and doing progressive overload (slowly increasing weight over time) is how you will get a bigger booty :)
3) More Protein
Eating enough protein is super important. Without protein, as you lose weight you will lose a lot of muscle too. You need your muscle to look toned! So feed it with protein. That way your body burns just fat instead.
4) 10 Min HIIT After Workouts
After hitting glutes and before you leave the gym, get on the stationary bike and go regular speed for 1 minute and then as fast as you can for 10 secs. Do this for a total of
10 mins.
5) 30 Min Cardio 2 Days A Week
On your non-glute days walk at a steady pace for 30 mins (if you can do more that’s even better). Yup you heard me. Just walk :) It will do the trick. Make sure to stay at a steady pace. Add a little incline if you wanna get crazyyy!
That’s pretty much it! There’s some trial and error, but honestly just sticking to it is the best thing you can do. You WILL see results the longer you keep at it. And boy does it feel nice to see the results!! And TRUST me, you will not get tired of seeing ur new booty in the mirror and neither will anyone else haha. 6 months until summer. That’s all you need. Give it all you got!
... Read moreHey everyone! You know that dream of a shapelier, rounder butt while also seeing some serious fat loss? I've been there, and I know how frustrating it can be to navigate all the advice out there. My own butt transformation journey taught me so much, especially about the delicate balance between building muscle glutes and achieving effective fat loss. The tips I shared originally are my core principles, but let me dive a little deeper into why they work and how you can truly optimize them for your own amazing results.
First off, let’s talk about consistency with your glute training. My experience showed me that Train Glutes 3 Days A Week isn't just a random number – it's often the sweet spot. This frequency allows for enough stimulus to encourage muscle growth, but also sufficient rest for recovery. Remember, muscles grow when they repair! On those non-glute days, don't just sit around. Focus on active recovery or other muscle groups. For a truly effective glute day, think compound movements like squats, deadlifts (Romanian deadlifts are a glute killer!), and especially hip thrusts. These are fantastic for building that roundness.
When I say Lift Heavier, I truly mean it. For a real booty transformation and to achieve fat loss and muscle gain, you have to challenge your muscles. Resistance bands are great for activation and warm-ups, but to force your glutes to grow, you need to progressively overload them. This means slowly increasing the weight you lift, the number of reps, or sets over time. Don't be afraid of the weight section! That's where the magic happens for building those strong, muscle glutes that give you that shapely look. For me, seeing those numbers go up on my lifts was incredibly motivating.
Nutrition is absolutely crucial, and boosting More Protein was a game-changer for my journey. When you're aiming for fat loss, you naturally create a calorie deficit. Without enough protein, your body might start breaking down muscle for energy, which is the opposite of what we want for a rounder butt! I aimed for at least 0.8-1 gram of protein per pound of my goal body weight. Think lean meats, eggs, Greek yogurt, and protein shakes. This helps preserve your hard-earned muscle, ensuring that the weight you lose is primarily fat, rather than valuable glute muscle. It's about feeding your body to build, not just to survive.
Now, let's talk about cardio. The combination of 10 Min HIIT After Workouts and 30 Min Cardio 2 Days A Week was my secret weapon for accelerating hip fat loss and overall body fat reduction. The short burst of HIIT after your strength training session is incredibly efficient. It taps into your fat stores when glycogen is low, making it a powerful fat-burning tool. I loved the stationary bike for this – pushing hard for 10 seconds, then a minute of recovery. It’s tough but quick! On my non-glute training days, that steady 30-minute walk was perfect. It wasn't intense enough to interfere with muscle recovery but consistent enough to contribute significantly to my calorie deficit and overall fat loss. Adding a slight incline made it even more effective for targeting those stubborn areas.
It's tempting to want instant results, but a true glute transformation before after takes dedication. I can tell you from experience, there will be days you feel unmotivated or don't see changes right away. That's normal! Trust the process, track your progress (photos are amazing for this!), and stay consistent. Whether you're wondering "is buttocks muscle or fat," know that with these strategies, you're actively building muscle while stripping away fat, leading to a firmer, rounder, and more defined shape. Stick with it, and you'll be amazed at your own before and after story!
