This hack helps me sleep better!

I have a life hack or tip that will seriously change your life. Get off the phone. Seriously! Turn it off at least 30 minutes before you hit the pillows. This allows your body to make melatonin, which helps your body get to sleep faster and longer. Before going to bed, you can drink some non-caffeinated tea, read, pray, or do another enjoyable activity.

What do you do before bed to help you get more sleep?

#lemon8contest #AskLemon8

2025/6/8 Edited to

... Read moreSleep is crucial for overall health and well-being, yet many struggle to achieve quality rest. One common disruptor of sleep is screen time before bed. Research shows that the blue light emitted from devices can interfere with melatonin production, making falling asleep more difficult. To optimize your sleep routine, try creating a calming atmosphere about an hour before bed. This can include dimming the lights, playing soft music, or using essential oils such as lavender, known for their relaxing properties. Consider adding mindfulness practices like meditation or gentle yoga to further enhance your relaxation. Staying away from stimulating activities, including intense discussions or high-energy shows, is essential for winding down. Instead, explore calming activities, such as journaling or enjoying a warm cup of non-caffeinated herbal tea. Moreover, establishing a consistent sleep schedule where you go to bed and wake up at the same time every day can significantly improve sleep quality. What pre-bedtime rituals do you find most helpful? Share your thoughts and tips in the community discussion!

You are absolutely right! However, I struggle so much to follow this good idea. I put the phone next to my bed and that makes it really hard not to grab it when I can’t sleep. I struggle a lot with sleeping! I know it’s part of me not being disciplined to put the phone up!

I would do that but I have to set my alarm and I use my phone to listen to manifestations to go to sleep, so I would have to buy a whole new device that I can’t buy right this minute
