Driving 5 hours and staying at comp all day is not for the weak. I’m not sure I’ll do it again but it was worth it! #sahm #momlife #cheer #minivlog #fyp
Traveling for a day-long cheer competition demands serious stamina, especially for busy moms like me balancing stay-at-home mom responsibilities. The 5-hour drive to Savannah, GA, was exhausting, but arriving at the 'QROOVE LIFE' cheer event and experiencing the electric atmosphere made it all worthwhile. I brought along essentials to stay energized throughout the day: snacks, water, and comfy clothes to change into between events. Being at a full-day competition means lots of standing, cheering, and moving around, so pacing yourself is key. I found that taking short breaks when possible helped me keep my energy up. The 'PUSH' mindset was definitely needed to get through the long day, from early morning preparations to the final awards. Watching my child perform on the East Coast competitive circuit inspired me and reminded me why all the effort is worth it. If you’re a #sahm or #momlife warrior contemplating similar trips, I recommend planning well but also embracing the experience wholeheartedly. The mini vlog I captured offers a glimpse into this hectic yet rewarding day, and I hope it motivates other parents to support their kids’ passions, even when it’s not easy. Sometimes the memories you make at events like these are priceless and fuel your motivation for future adventures.
