Women with internalized misogyny are a walking contradiction.

4/24 Edited to

... Read moreInternalized misogyny is a complex and often painful experience where women unconsciously adopt sexist attitudes and beliefs against their own gender. From my personal experience, this can cause significant inner conflict, as women struggle between identifying with feminist values and the ingrained stereotypes they have absorbed through social conditioning. One of the most challenging aspects is recognizing these internalized beliefs. They often manifest subtly—like doubting one's abilities, competing unnecessarily with other women, or even dismissing feminist ideals. Acknowledging these feelings without judgment is a crucial first step toward healing and change. In social interactions, internalized misogyny can lead to behaviors that seem contradictory, such as supporting women's empowerment in theory but undermining other women in practice. For instance, I have observed how workplace dynamics sometimes trigger suspicion or jealousy among female colleagues, which ironically weakens collective progress. Over time, increasing awareness through conversations, reading, and community support networks has helped me and many others to reframe these contradictions. Embracing feminism as an inclusive and empowering movement allows us to unlearn harmful biases and foster solidarity instead of division. Moreover, platforms that encourage unfiltered and honest discussions about such experiences—like the #womentowomen community—are invaluable. They provide safe spaces for sharing personal stories without fear of judgment, which amplifies understanding and collective growth. Ultimately, confronting internalized misogyny is a continuous journey. It involves self-reflection, compassion, and active effort to dismantle inherited prejudices. By recognizing this walking contradiction within, women can support each other to build confidence and advance genuine equality in all spheres of life.

Darkskin women are so used to colorism and rejection that real love, praise, and softness can start to feel fake. That is how deep the damage goes. Internalized hate does not come from nowhere. #DarkSkinWomen #Colorism #InternalizedColorism #BlackWomen #beautystandards

Yeah I’m about done with “creators” like Sasha. This behavior isn’t just offensive, it’s also lazy, embarassing and pathetic. Either learn a skill and start creating actually compelling content….or go away. And either way, leave Black women and girls alone. They don’t need your malicious “advice”.
