Reflecting on my journey as a musician, I realize how improbable all these accomplishments felt during my freshman year. I had big dreams but never imagined actually auditioning for prestigious schools like NYU and USC, let alone attending an arts boarding school or performing at iconic venues like Carnegie Hall. The journey was anything but easy. The key was relentless dedication and passion fueled by moments of both doubt and inspiration. When I was preparing for auditions, I often felt overwhelmed, but I reminded myself that every practice session was a step closer to my dreams. Performing alongside incredible artists such as Yo-Yo Ma taught me the importance of humility, collaboration, and continued growth. Going on tour during my senior year to cities like Detroit, Philadelphia, and Boston was surreal—it felt like the culmination of years of hard work paying off. Touring gave me a practical perspective on the music industry, including the realities of travel, performance energy management, and connecting with diverse audiences. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that success is built on consistent effort, resilience through setbacks, and keeping your passion alive. No matter where you are in your journey, believe in the process and celebrate each milestone along the way.
