when it comes to cardio, i’m a stairmaster girly through and through !! my coach explained this to me, and it just makes so much sense — unlike running, cycling, or even the elliptical, stairs don’t break down leg muscle the same way… ESPECIALLY for us girlies 💖🎀 running is super high impact, which can lead to more muscle breakdown, and cycling/elliptical don’t hit the glutes + hamstrings like the stairs do. with stairs, you’re constantly engaging your lower body while keeping all that muscle we’re working so hard for !! 💁🏼‍♀️ the perfect way to burn fat without sacrificing any of our work ! we’re here to build muscle and get stronger right ?!! LET’S CRUSH 💓✨💪🏼
