For breakfast, I usually have something light like apple cider juice which totals around 82 calories. This keeps me feeling refreshed without adding unnecessary calories early in the day. Lunch is my biggest meal, providing about 458 calories. I like to keep it simple yet satisfying, often enjoying a hot dog alongside baked mac and cheese plus fresh fruit like watermelon and red grapes. This combination delivers a good balance of protein, carbs, and a bit of vegetables through fruit, supporting energy without feeling deprived. For dinner, I often eat steak with homemade fries, totaling approximately 470 calories. The steak offers essential protein which is key for muscle maintenance especially when trying to lose fat. Making fries at home allows me to control the amount of oil and seasoning, keeping it healthier compared to fast food alternatives. Snacks are usually around 310 calories and include comforting yet measured treats like old-fashioned pretzel rods paired with Nutella. This gives me a sweet fix while also incorporating some carbs and fats to keep me full between meals. One challenge I faced during this journey was losing the charger for my fitness watch, so I couldn't reliably track my daily steps. Despite that, I stayed consistent with my food choices and plan to get back into more regular workouts soon. This experience taught me that weight loss is not about perfection but balance and persistence. If you’re trying to lose weight, consider focusing on whole foods, moderate portion sizes, and allow yourself small indulgences to avoid feeling restricted. Also, tracking calories and nutrients can highlight areas for improvement but remember to be kind to yourself throughout your progress.

Okay so this is the deal…. I cooked a giant batch of shredded chicken and used it to make most of my meals. Personally I love this method because I was able to vary most of my foods. Right now I’m not super focused on specific macros just trying to keep my protein high and my calories low.
