What to do in #VaticanCity ? 😘

... Read moreWhen visiting Vatican City, it’s easy to get caught up in the famous sites like St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, but there’s so much more to explore beyond these highlights. Take time to wander through the Vatican Museums, where you’ll find incredible galleries filled with classical statues and fascinating rooms that tell centuries-old stories. One of my favorite moments was standing in front of the Bramante Staircase, a marvel of architecture that offers a glimpse into Renaissance ingenuity. For a relaxing break after plenty of walking, head to the nearby fountain—make a wish and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the colonnades designed by Bernini, which frame the square beautifully and create a breathtaking backdrop for photos. If you still have energy, a stroll across the nearby Bridge in the Monti area of Rome offers stunning views of the city’s rooftops and historic buildings. Pro tip: Wear comfortable shoes and carry a small bottle of water, as there’s a lot of walking involved but plenty of moments to pause and enjoy your surroundings. Trust me, pacing yourself makes the experience far more enjoyable. Whether it’s your first visit or a return trip, the blend of spiritual history, art, and quiet spots will leave you with unforgettable memories of Vatican City.
