True love does not only care about someone’s life today it cares about where they will spend eternity. When believers truly love people, they desire that others would also receive salvation and become part of the Body of Christ.
The greatest love we can show is pointing people to the finished and sufficient work of Jesus Christ, because salvation is not achieved by human effort but by faith in what Christ has already accomplished on the cross.
The gospel declares that our salvation is based on the finished and sufficient work of Christ His death, burial, and resurrection.

Because of what Christ finished at the cross, sinners can be justified by faith alone. Salvation is a gift of God’s grace, not something we earn by our works. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

When a person believes in Christ and trusts His finished and sufficient work, they are brought into a new spiritual family the Body of Christ.

This is why believers care about the eternal destiny of others. We desire that they too would place their faith in Christ and receive the righteousness that comes through Him alone.

And when people believe the gospel, they are united together in Christ as one body with one hope. “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.”

Loving people therefore means pointing them to Jesus Christ trusting completely in His finished and sufficient work so that they may also receive salvation and become part of His Body for eternity.
In my personal journey of faith, I've discovered that true love genuinely extends beyond the physical life we live daily. It's about caring deeply for where each individual will spend eternity. This perspective has transformed how I approach relationships and conversations with others, focusing on sharing the message of salvation through Christ. One important insight I've gained is that salvation cannot be earned by deeds or personal efforts; it is a gift received by faith in Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection. Understanding this liberates us from trying to prove our worth and helps us focus on the grace given freely. This is beautifully reflected in the Scripture from Ephesians 2:8–9, emphasizing salvation as a gift, not a reward for works. Moreover, becoming part of the Body of Christ means joining a spiritual family united by faith and hope. This unity fosters love and care for others' spiritual well-being. When I share this gospel message with friends or in community groups, it’s encouraging to see how many desire this same hope and assurance for themselves. In practical terms, loving others by pointing them toward Christ involves patience, genuine concern, and clear communication of biblical truths. It’s not about judgment but offering the hope found in Christ’s finished work on the cross. The verse from 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 reminds us why this message is so powerful: Christ’s death and resurrection are the foundation for our faith and eternal life. Loving people eternally means trusting completely in what Jesus has accomplished and inviting others to do the same. It changes how we value conversations and interactions, making them opportunities for eternal impact. This realization has enriched my faith and strengthened my commitment to share the gospel with compassion and clarity.
