🖤 The JASTINATIONS Apology 🖤
As a Philly influencer, I know that my platform carries weight, and with that comes the responsibility to not only promote but also to protect and uplift. Today, I want to publicly and sincerely apologize to Jordin, the powerhouse business owner behind @Your Answer 🤍 , a Black-owned business here in Philadelphia.
Jordin asked something of me that she deserved, and I didn’t deliver. As a Black woman, I can’t believe I fell short in showing up fully for another Black woman—especially one building something so beautiful and important in our community. Accountability matters. Honesty matters. And if I’m going to call myself a content creator, then I have to be willing to stand on those values.
From the bottom of my heart, Jordin, I am sorry. 🖤
To show that this apology is more than just words, I am blessing Who Got Sweets with $50—and I challenge my fellow Philadelphia content creators to do the same. If you can’t bless her monetarily, then bless her with what we do best: show up, do a review, share her page, and spread the word. We all know how hard it is for small Black-owned businesses to thrive, and together we can create a wave of support.
This city is full of beautiful, hardworking, and innovative Black creators and entrepreneurs. Let’s make sure our actions match our words and that we never forget our responsibility to one another.
