Pie Crust
Ingredients:
* 1½ cups flour
* 1 tbsp sugar
* ¼ tsp salt
* ½ cup cold butter (cubed)
* ¼ cup ice water
Instructions:
1. Whisk flour, sugar, and salt
2. Cut in butter until crumbly
3. Add water and mix until dough forms
4. Shape into a disc, wrap, and chill at least 2 hours

Crumble Topping
Ingredients:
* ½ cup brown sugar
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* ¾ cup flour
* ¾ cup chopped walnuts
* 5 tbsp melted butter
Instructions:
1. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and walnuts
2. Stir in melted butter until crumbly
3. Chill until ready to use

Apple Filling
Ingredients:
* 10 cups sliced apples
* ½ cup sugar
* ¼ cup flour
* 1 tbsp lemon juice
* 1½ tsp cinnamon
* ¼ tsp cloves
* ¼ tsp nutmeg
* 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
1. Toss apples with all ingredients until well coated

Assembly & Baking
Instructions:
1. Roll out chilled dough and place into a 9-inch pie dish
2. Trim and crimp edges, then brush with egg wash
3. Fill with apple mixture (it will be full!)
4. Top with crumble topping
5. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes
6. Reduce to 375°F and bake 35–45 minutes until golden and bubbly

* Cool at least 3 hours before slicing
* Serve with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce
