3 easy money moves I’ve made this year

Here are 3 easy money moves that I made this year. 💵🚚

🎀1. I stopped DoorDashing as much and decided to grocery shop and cook more often. Salmon, rice and broccoli is my go to meal. It makes it easier to cook bigger meals so you can have left overs to take to work.

🎀2. I use to be a Uber/Lyft Queen😂 but in 2025 they’re too expensive. Start catching the bus girl!

🎀3. I canceled Netflix and hbo max because I didn’t really watch them to begin. I only pay for hulu now because it most of the shows that I watch religiously.

... Read moreMaking small yet effective changes in our daily spending can significantly boost our savings over time. For example, replacing frequent DoorDashing with cooking at home, like simple meals of salmon, rice, and broccoli, not only saves money but also promotes healthier eating habits. Cooking larger portions to have leftovers for work lunches further maximizes these savings and reduces food waste. Another impactful change is reducing reliance on costly transportation like Uber and Lyft. Switching to public transit, even if it requires a bit more planning, can dramatically lower monthly expenses. Public bus options often offer affordable passes that bring down transportation costs significantly compared to multiple rideshares. Subscriptions for streaming platforms can quietly drain your finances if not monitored. Canceling rarely-used services like Netflix or HBO Max and keeping only essential ones like Hulu—where your favorite shows are—helps cut unnecessary costs without sacrificing entertainment. Together, these practical money moves—cooking at home, embracing public transportation, and streamlining entertainment subscriptions—form a balanced approach to managing everyday spending. They not only save money but also encourage mindful habits that contribute to long-term financial wellness. Remember, every small adjustment you make adds up to a healthier budget and financial future.
