Today 10/27/23 I officially lost a 100lbs.

The first pic was on Dec.22,2022 weighing in 286.5lbs. The last picture was on Oct. 4,2024. I have insulin resistance PCOS. I’ve tried everything. Counts calories, walking, weight watchers, keto, paleo, and my last stop was surgery. I was in the process of having surgery but we found out my dad had cancer. Then my pre diabetes ended up becoming full blown diabetes and I was prescribed mounjaro. I feel better and I look better( to me) lol.

My journey to losing 100 lbs hasn't just been about the numbers on the scale; it's been a complete life transformation, moving towards "HOW IT'S GOING" with so much more energy and health. Many of you might be wondering, "how to lose weight with insulin resistance?" I know firsthand how frustrating it can be. It feels like your body is working against you. I tried countless approaches – meticulously counting calories, endless walking, Weight Watchers, keto, paleo – and while some offered temporary relief, nothing truly stuck until I found the right combination for my body. What I learned is that managing insulin resistance isn't just about cutting carbs; it's about making sustainable changes that support your metabolic health. I focused on incorporating more lean protein and healthy fats into every meal, making sure I got plenty of fiber from vegetables. This helped keep my blood sugar stable and reduced those intense cravings that used to sabotage my efforts. Consistent movement, like my daily walks, became non-negotiable, not just for burning calories, but for improving insulin sensitivity. When my health took a turn and my pre-diabetes became full-blown diabetes, my doctor and I discussed medication options. This is where Mounjaro entered my journey. I know many people search for "30 day metformin weight loss results," looking for that initial boost.
