We want to save food, money and time, so why not do this?

Since my husband and I are both going to school and work, we’re truly figuring this meal prep game. I personally am not used to the whole meal prep thing, because i was more accustomed to having fresh foods (cooked by mom).

With our work and school schedules, even making meals has gotten challenging. We want to eat something healthy, but we chose to either buy the same foods either in restaurants and spend more money.

We’re starting from the most simple thing like this one for example. This is my left-over veggies because i was trying to make a rice bowl with mixed veggies. We had so much left overs for just two people and i figured why not freeze them.

I’m also looking for ideas and recipes :) anything helps and I may try them one at a time!

It’s a comforting, hearty dish that fits perfectly into my jam-packed lifestyle while keeping costs down and nutrition up.
