Hair advice please!

6/3 Edited to

... Read moreWhen it comes to hair care and especially hair dyeing, finding the right advice can really transform your look and boost your confidence. Based on my personal experience and what I’ve learned over time, here are some helpful tips that might guide you on your hair journey. First, preparation is key. Before dyeing your hair, make sure your hair is in good condition—try deep conditioning treatments for a week or two in advance. This helps minimize damage and keeps your hair hydrated. If you have any scalp issues, such as sensitivity or dryness, it’s best to address those beforehand with soothing treatments to avoid irritation. Choosing the right dye is also important. Consider using semi-permanent or ammonia-free dyes if you’re concerned about damage. These options tend to be gentler and can provide vibrant color without harsh chemicals. When selecting a shade, it’s helpful to perform a strand test to see how the color looks and how your hair reacts before fully committing. After coloring, keeping your hair nourished is vital. Use sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners designed for color-treated hair to extend your color’s life and prevent fading. Also, avoid washing your hair too frequently as it can strip the dye and natural oils. In terms of styling, minimize heat tools like flat irons or curling wands, or use a heat protectant spray if heat styling is necessary. Regular trims can prevent split ends and maintain the overall health of your hair. Lastly, if you’re unsure about dyeing your hair yourself, consulting a professional stylist can save you from common pitfalls and ensure a better result. They can offer tailored advice based on your hair type and desired outcome. Overall, hair advice is not just about beauty but also about health. Taking good care of your hair before and after dyeing makes a noticeable difference and keeps your hair looking fresh and lively. Keep experimenting and learning, and enjoy your hair transformation journey!

My best hair advice ✨
1. Double shampoo your scalp. This will make all of the difference in the health of your hair & scalp. It will also help go longer between washes. 2. Condition ONLY your ENDS. The roots of your hair get the oil from your scalp therefore don’t reaaally need the extra moisture and can cause it
