Passed the newborn stage!

This is for all my mommas struggling in the newborn stage! IT GETS BETTER!! 🙏🏻

We are at 12 weeks now and lil man is sleeping through the night, we have a good feeding routine, pees and poohs are consistent, he plays so much, he’s vocal and smiley! I am now able to do things around the house without having that crazy anxiety. Postpartum depression is almost gone (I’m just now dealing with my grandma she’s slowly passing away, so that’s grief).

This has definitely been different having my last baby in my 30s and breastfeeding for the first time! My other kids are 14, 13, and 8. Anyways, I just wanted to give some hope to those new mamas out there! Things will get better and it will get easier as time passes! 🥰🥰👏👏🤱🏻🤱🏻

... Read moreThe newborn stage can be incredibly challenging, but it's important for mothers to know that they are not alone in their struggles. Many new moms experience feelings of anxiety and exhaustion while adapting to life with a newborn. Establishing a reliable feeding schedule and understanding your baby's patterns—such as sleeping through the night and consistent diaper changes—are significant milestones that can ease worries. As new mothers navigate postpartum recovery, there can be ups and downs, including dealing with grief from personal losses, as shared by parents coping with life changes. Breastfeeding, especially for first-time moms, brings its own set of challenges and triumphs, as it fosters a unique bond between mother and baby. It’s crucial for new mothers to connect with support groups, whether through online forums or local meetups, to share their experiences and gain advice from others who have faced similar circumstances. Remember that every baby is unique, and what works for one may not work for another; patience and flexibility are key. Additionally, as mothers transition into this new phase of life, making time for self-care and mental health is essential. Techniques such as mindfulness, seeking professional help if necessary, or simply taking time for personal interests can significantly improve overall well-being. New mothers should celebrate the small victories too, knowing that every step forward is a step towards a healthier, happier family life. Embrace the process and remember: it gets better with time!
