Easy & Comforting Taco Bake
Ingredients:
•1 1/2 lbs ground beef
•1 package taco seasoning
•1 can Rotel tomatoes
•6-8 tortillas
• 1/2 cup salsa con queso
• 2 cups shredded cheese
Steps:
1) Preheat oven to 375.
2) Brown ground beef in a skillet and drain off the grease
3) Add taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water, mix well.
4) Drain your rotel tomatoes and mix in taco meat mixture. Let simmer for 5-10 minutes. Stir in Salsa Con Queso.
5) Grease a 9X13 baking dish
6) Place two tortillas on the bottom of your pan and layer your taco meat mixture on top. Add a thin layer of your shredded cheese.
7) Repeat Step 6 until all your tortilla and taco meat are gone. You should end this process with a layer of taco meat.
8) Top with remaining Shredded Cheese and bake until the cheese is melted.
9) Let cool for 5-10 minutes. Serve with toppings of your choice. We use a crumbling Mexican cheese, Salsa, sour cream, and sometimes a small crushed amount of Doritos.
