Enjoy! 🍑
Baked Brie is one of my favorite appetizers to serve when entertaining guests because it's both sophisticated and simple to prepare. This Baklava Peach Baked Brie recipe adds a delightful twist by incorporating chopped pistachios, walnuts, and honey—ingredients inspired by the flavors of traditional baklava. The nuts provide a wonderful crunchy texture that complements the creamy, melted brie underneath. One of the best parts about this recipe is the topping of fresh diced peaches combined with chopped basil. The peaches add a natural sweetness and juiciness that pairs beautifully with the richness of the cheese. The basil introduces an herbaceous freshness that helps balance the dish. I have also tried substituting the peaches with fresh berries like blueberries or raspberries when peaches were not in season, and it worked just as well! When preparing the brie, scoring the surface before baking allows the honey and nuts to melt into the cheese, making each bite more flavorful. Baking at 400°F for about 10–15 minutes softens the brie to perfect gooeyness without losing its shape. Serving immediately with warm baguette slices or crostini makes this a perfect finger food for gatherings. For added flair, a light sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top enhances the overall taste by balancing the sweetness and highlighting the nutty flavors. This dish is a crowd-pleaser that can also be adapted easily to suit different tastes or seasonal ingredients. I've found that making this recipe ahead and baking it just before guests arrive keeps the brie warm and melty for serving. Overall, Baklava Peach Baked Brie is a delicious appetizer that blends textures and flavors harmoniously, bringing a unique spin to classic baked brie dishes.
