I’ve been called a bad mom for raising my kids the way I do. I take them out of the classroom more than most and travel the world with them. We learn about food, culture, history, nature, and so much more. Most importantly we learn to problem solve, work together, be patient with ourselves and others. We aren’t rich in the material things but damn are we ever rich in life-that’s something I’m proud of. My children don’t need a degree from a prestigious school for me to be proud of them, they show me how amazing they are every day they interact with the world around them.
So to all the “bad” parents out there, you’re doing amazing. Keep going ❤️

The school used to ridicule me for taking my kids out of school for a week so we could travel!! My kids learned SO much from travelling!! My daughter is currently running for under armour and training for the Olympics! She holds 2 Canadian gold medals. My son also holds a gold medal and is doing his second degree. Physics engineering. Both of my kids went to school in the states on scholarship and earned their degree. Don’t worry about the small minded people say.
