spent the morning in Monet’s garden and ended the night back in Paris 🤍
this was easily one of my favorite days on this trip… slow, full, and exactly why I love solo travel
saving this itinerary for next time because I’d do it all over again

Visiting Monet’s Garden (Giverny) is truly a magical experience, especially for those who appreciate Impressionist art and nature. I recommend starting your day early to avoid the crowds, as Monet’s beautiful water lilies and iconic Japanese bridge become much busier by mid-morning. Walking through the artist’s home and gardens provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle of Paris. After soaking in Monet’s tranquility, heading back to Paris in the evening infuses your day with a vibrant urban contrast. Whether you stroll along the Seine or explore the charming neighborhoods, the city’s lights and lively atmosphere create the perfect end to a slow and reflective day. From personal experience, solo travel allows you to fully absorb each moment without distractions, making this itinerary one of my favorites. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes, a camera, and perhaps a journal to capture your personal reflections. Save this plan for your next visit — it’s worth repeating!
