30 minute gym leg and glute routine
Only had 30 minutes this morning, but I wasn’t skipping glute and leg day. 🔥
Here’s the routine I knocked out:
➡️ Hip thrusts using the 8x8x8 method (8 reps, 8 cast bridges, 8 second hold at the top)
➡️ Straight into RDLs
➡️ Sumo squat to RDL combo + bodyweight pulses
➡️ Finished with elevated reverse lunges on each leg
Quick, effective, and glutes were on fire after this one. No excuses, you can always make it work with the time you have. 💪🏾🍑

If you only have 30 minutes to spare but want to maximize your leg and glute gains, focusing on compound exercises that target multiple muscles simultaneously is key. The 8x8x8 method highlighted here is an advanced technique for hip thrusts where you perform 8 repetitions, followed by 8 glute bridges, and finish with an 8-second hold at the top. This not only builds strength but also enhances muscle endurance and mind-muscle connection. Complementing hip thrusts with Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs) allows for excellent hamstring and glute activation through the hip hinge movement. Incorporating the heavy sumo squat into the routine effectively targets the inner thighs alongside the glutes, and adding bodyweight pulses increases time under tension, promoting muscular endurance. Elevated reverse lunges are an excellent finishing move that improves unilateral leg strength and balance; doing 3 rounds until failure on each leg can really challenge your muscles for growth. It’s important not to overlook stretching after these exercises to maintain flexibility and reduce injury risk. Remember, consistency and proper form during these targeted movements will help you see visible glute and leg improvements even when working within tight time constraints. No excuses—this workout proves that an effective lower body session is achievable in just half an hour.
