ALL BIRTHS ARE BEAUTIFUL!!

I have experienced both medicated and unmedicated births.

I had an epidural with my first, a spinal with my second, and my third was completely unmedicated.

All 3 resulted in a healthy mama and baby, which is the main goal, Right?

I hate seeing women beating themselves up because they got an epidural or attack another woman because she didn’t.

There are posts all over saying women that have an unmedicated birth don’t deserve and award because they didn’t take the drugs, and that they aren’t better than the women that did get the epidural.

Not to mention the crap that gets thrown at women that get C-sections.

Personally I believe EVERY woman that gives birth deserves an award.

Right I don’t care if someone is medicated or not has a c section whatever. You’re still bringing a human into the world

Natural/un-mediated birth is something I always wished I could have done but both of my babies were emergency c-sections. It really sucks when other moms attack us for having a c-section, they don’t realize c-sections aren’t a choice but medically necessary depending on the health of mom and the baby. Plus the recovery part takes weeks 😔 , I’m currently 8 days PP and I’m dying over here 😭

Not all births are the same. An unmedicated birth can be peaceful and beautiful. It can be everything you want it to be. Before I was 8cm I was walking around shopping with my aunt and daughter and had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. By the time I was to the point I thought I needed to go

Hospital polices you can say NO to during birth
1. Continuous Fetal Monitoring Fetal monitoring is done to measure the baby’s heart rate in-utero. Some hospitals still set you up with a continuous (permanent, so to speak) heart rate monitor around your belly that is attached to a computer and printer. This monitor also measures the timing and i
