Like many of you, I've been seeing amazing transformations, and it inspired me to find a version that truly fits my life. The original 75 Hard felt a bit too intense for my current routine and mental health goals, so the 'Soft' version is perfect for building sustainable habits. I know many are curious about the 75 Soft rules and 75 Soft goals, so I wanted to break down what I'm doing and how I'm planning to tackle this from August 19th to November 1st. First, let's talk about the rules. The 75 Soft Challenge rules are designed to be flexible yet challenging enough to push you towards healthier habits. Based on what I've seen and adapted for myself, here's my interpretation of the 8 key rules, many of which are outlined in the infographic I'm following: Follow a healthy diet: This isn't about extreme restriction, but making conscious, healthy food choices. For me, it means focusing on whole foods, lots of veggies, and mindful eating. I'm aiming to limit processed foods and added sugars. No alcohol or cheat meals: This might be the toughest for some! I'm planning to completely cut out alcohol and be very strict about not having designated 'cheat meals' for the 75 days. It's about consistency. Drink plenty of water daily: My goal is to hit a specific daily water intake (around 3-4 liters). I find using a large reusable bottle helps me keep track. Complete 45 minutes of exercise daily: This can be any form of movement. It doesn't have to be a hardcore gym session every day. For me, it's a mix of walking, yoga, and some light strength training. Read 10 pages of a non-fiction book daily: This rule is fantastic for mental growth! I've picked out a few self-improvement books. Reading before bed helps me wind down. Take a progress picture daily: This helps to track my body transformation and stay motivated even when I don't feel like I'm making progress. It's truly amazing to see the subtle changes over time. Weigh yourself daily: This helps me stay accountable, though I focus more on how I feel and how my clothes fit rather than just the number. It's a quick check-in. Get up at a consistent wake-up time: My target is 6 AM every day, even weekends. This consistency helps regulate my internal clock and sets a productive tone for the day. I'm also incorporating intermittent fasting into my routine, usually an 8-hour eating window. My 75 Soft goals are pretty straightforward: I want to lose weight, drink more water, and most importantly, start healthier habits that will stick long after the challenge ends. To help me stay on track, I'm thinking of using a 75 Soft challenge tracker app – there are many great options out there that can help with a 75 soft checklist and remind me of my 75 soft ideas for workouts or meals. Having a 75 soft challenge workout plan that I can adapt each week is also key. Consistency is everything, and having a visual reminder or a simple checklist can make a huge difference. This is my 75 soft guide to a more achievable and sustainable journey towards wellness.
