This makes a huge difference because fresh, warm rice tends to be too moist and can become mushy when stir-fried. If you don't have leftover rice, you can cook some in advance and spread it out on a tray to cool completely before using. Next, let's talk about the veggies! This is where you can truly make it your own and use whatever you have on hand. For my ultimate veggie fried rice, I love a colorful mix. My staples usually include diced carrots, green peas, and corn – frozen ones work perfectly and are super convenient. I’ll also add finely chopped onion and garlic for that aromatic base.
