# Loi Krathong Day is not just a tradition of beautyBut it is the "ceremony of the soul" that Thais pay homage to the Mother of Ganges - the deity who gives water to nourish life, to flourish plants, to drink, to bathe and to heal.
Loi Krathong...It is not only asking for what we have offended you, knowing or not, but also "apologizing for life" and "forgiving yourself" in everything we may have missed, to open a new space for a light and clean heart again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
On this night...As the cockerel floated out of my hand, I purposefully let go with anxiety, sadness, and all that need not continue to bear, leaving only faith, gratitude, and the power of love ready to start all over again.
The round moon is like a perfect heart, and every cockerel is like a living prayer - may everyone's life truly float to the light of wisdom, abundance, and happiness. 🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰
Tonight...I float the cockerel with a calm heart, thank you to the "Ganges" for giving me every drop to grow, and may the candlelight of everyone's cockerel illuminate the way tomorrow's life is more beautiful. 🙏🙏🙏

ประเพณิลอยกระทงถือเป็นหนึ่งในประเพณีที่สำคัญและเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของไทยซึ่งสืบทอดกันมาตั้งแต่โบราณ โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายที่ลึกซึ้งมากกว่าการประดับตกแต่งกระทงให้งดงามเพื่อปล่อยลอยน้ำเท่านั้น ลอยกระทงเป็นพิธีที่คนไทยได้แสดงความเคารพต่อ "พระแม่คงคา" เทวีแห่งน้ำ ซึ่งเป็นผู้ประทานน้ำให้แก่ชีวิตและธรรมชาติ เพื่อให้เกิดความอุดมสมบูรณ์และความสุขในชีวิตประจำวัน ในคืนวันลอยกระทง แสงจันทร์เต็มดวงที่สะท้อนผิวน้ำอย่างอ่อนโยน เช่นเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของการปล่อยวางความทุกข์และความกังวลใจ การลอยกระทงจึงเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ให้เราขอโทษพระแม่คงคาสำหรับการล่วงเกิน หรือความประมาทที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับธรรมชาติ รวมถึงเป็นโอกาสให้เราขอโทษตัวเองและให้อภัยจิตใจ เพื่อทำความสะอาดใจและเปิดรับความตั้งใจใหม่ นอกจากนี้ยังมีความเชื่อว่าการปล่อยกระทงลงแม่น้ำจะช่วยนำพาความโชคดีและสิ่งร้ายให้ลอยหายไป สำหรับใครที่สนใจเข้าร่วมประเพณีนี้ ควรเลือกกระทงที่ทำจากวัสดุธรรมชาติ เช่น ใบตอง ดอกไม้ ธูปเทียน เพื่อเป็นการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมและแสดงความเคารพต่อธรรมชาติอย่างแท้จริง นอกจากนี้ การตั้งใจขอขมาด้วยหัวใจที่จริงจัง จะสามารถเสริมสร้างความสงบและความสุขให้กับชีวิตได้ ในยุคปัจจุบัน แม้รูปแบบของการลอยกระทงจะมีการปรับเปลี่ยนให้เหมาะสมและร่วมสมัยขึ้น แต่ความหมายดั้งเดิมของพิธีกรรมยังคงเป็นศูนย์กลางของประเพณี เพื่อเตือนใจให้ทุกคนไม่ลืมคุณค่าของธรรมชาติและจิตวิญญาณของการให้อภัยและการเริ่มต้นใหม่
