Getting yourself to do the things you want to do, that you just can't get yourself to do is not easy. It is simple though. You don't need another course or connection. You simply need to release what's holding you back and causing you to over think everything.
I can help you with this!
Many of us face the challenge of wanting to accomplish tasks but feeling stuck due to overthinking and mental barriers. From my experience, the first step is acknowledging that these barriers are mostly self-imposed. Overthinking often leads to procrastination because we fear failure or making the wrong decision. To break free, I found that focusing on small, manageable actions helps build momentum. For example, instead of setting a big goal like "start exercising," begin with a 5-minute walk. This lowers resistance and reduces the pressure to be perfect. Another effective technique is mindfulness and journaling to identify what specific thoughts trigger your hesitation. Writing down your worries helps objectify them and reduce their impact. Additionally, setting a timer for short bursts of focused work (often called the Pomodoro technique) minimizes the overwhelming feeling of a large workload. Remember, you don't need complicated courses or external help to change your behavior. The key is to release mental blocks by forgiving yourself for past procrastination and embracing progress over perfection. Consistency, patience, and self-compassion will gradually help you overcome the inertia and get things done more effortlessly.
