Almond Butter Energy Balls

Energy balls are one of my favorite breakfast or snack items! They are so filling and the perfect sweetness.

Almond butter provides a rich nutty flavor as well as healthy fats and Vit E - an antioxidant. Rolled oats are a whole grain rich in soluble fiber, which helps to lower cholesterol and support your digestion. Hemp and flax seeds provide omega 3s and fiber to support heart health. Cacao nibs not only have an addicting crunch but provide antioxidants and more fiber!

... Read moreEnergy balls are not only satisfying but also versatile and easy to prepare. With ingredients like almond butter, rolled oats, and flax seeds, they combine energy-boosting properties with essential nutrients. Almond butter adds a rich flavor while contributing heart-healthy fats. Rolled oats serve as a whole grain source of fiber, aiding in digestion and promoting a feeling of fullness. Flax seeds and hemp seeds are excellent sources of omega-3 fatty acids, which play a vital role in heart health, while cacao nibs introduce a delicious crunch and additional antioxidants. These energy balls are perfect for breakfast, as a pre-workout snack, or a midday pick-me-up. To customize, you can add your favorite superfoods or adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of honey. The recipe is easy to follow, usually requiring just a few simple mixing steps and no baking. Just combine the ingredients, roll them into balls, and refrigerate to set. Enjoy them at your convenience for a nutritious and satisfying snack option!
