Because Self-Care Is Part of Motherhood

A little me-time, a peaceful lunch, a calming yoga class, and back to the wonderful, messy, joyful life of being a mum. 💛

It’s a reminder that caring for ourselves is important. Taking even a small pause to breathe, move, or simply enjoy a quiet moment helps us recharge. And when we recharge, we can show up more fully, more patiently, and more lovingly for the little people who depend on us.

Motherhood is beautiful, but it can be tiring and full of constant giving. Allowing ourselves to take a break, to nurture our own body and mind, is just as important as all the love we pour out for them. A little escape reminds me that self-care is part of the journey, it helps me keep going with energy, joy, and presence. 💕

Do you make time for yourself?
I’m a mom, a nurse… and someone who believes you can still make time for yourself. Life gets busy. Work, family, responsibilities — it doesn’t slow down. But I’ve realised… it’s not about having more time, it’s about making space. For me, it’s the small things — skincare, movement, and

Habits that made motherhood WAY easier for me
No one tells you how much motherhood becomes about creating systems that help you survive the day 😅 These are the habits that genuinely made caring for my baby feel more manageable at home — especially living in a resale HDB with 2 cats, limited space, and never-ending messes 🫠 Some of these

the truth about mom burnout nobody talks about
In my recharge era 🌿 Some days I give everything — my energy, my patience, my time, my body, my peace. I pour and pour until I’m running on fumes, wondering where I went in all of this. The constant needs, the endless decisions, the mental load that never stops even when everyone else is asleep.

Hey Mama… When Was the Last Time You Chose You?
Hey mama, if you’ve been feeling buried under endless tasks, take a moment and ask yourself. When was the last time you slowed down and did something just for you? Not because the kids wanted it. Not because someone else needed you. Just because you wanted it. What if giving yourself jus

This is your reminder to slow down 🌿
Lately, it feels like I’ve been constantly running… Deadlines, responsibilities, everything piling up one after another. Some days, I didn’t even realise how overwhelmed I was — just moving, doing, coping. Until I paused. And I knew… I needed me time. Not something big, not something fa

A Journal for When Things Feel a Bit Much
I made this journal because I realised I was always showing up for everyone else, but barely checking in with myself. Not in a deep way. Just moving through the days, feeling tired, frustrated, or lost, and not knowing where to even begin. Journaling became a space for me to slow down and really

Self love club - part 1

🌸 A gentle reminder for today: take care of yourself too. 🦦💕
In the middle of busy schedules, endless responsibilities, and caring for everyone else, don’t forget that you matter too. Drink some water, take a break, go for a walk, or simply slow down for a moment. You only get one body and one heart, be kind to both. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s how we r
