✨ ADHD experiment: Mushroom coffee for focus? ✨

So….I’ve been seeing way too many ads for this mushroom coffee saying it helps with focus, brain function, and even ADHD, and I finally decided to give it a try for a month.

I ordered just one package to start with and it came with:

☕ 1 bag of RYZE mushroom coffee

🥄 an acacia wooden spoon and scoop (both made of acacia wood)

🧲 a cute magnet for the fridge to match

Honestly the packaging was really cute and the spoon is actually adorable.

This coffee is supposed to be different from regular coffee because it contains functional mushrooms that are believed to support brain function and give smoother energy without the jitters.

The mushrooms included are:

🍄 Lion’s Mane – often associated with focus and brain support

⚡ Cordyceps – energy and stamina

🌿 Reishi – stress and mood balance

🛡 Turkey Tail & Shiitake – immune support

Apparently the caffeine is also much lower than normal coffee, which is supposed to give more steady energy instead of that crash later in the day.

Since I have ADHD, I’m curious if this will actually help with:

✔ focus

✔ brain fog

✔ calmer energy

✔ fewer caffeine crashes

So I’m doing a 1 month experiment.

Plan:

☕ drink it every morning

🧠 pay attention to focus levels

😴 see if it affects sleep or anxiety

📝 update with my honest results

I’ll come back and post an update in a month to see if it actually made a difference or if it’s just another trendy health drink.

Stay tuned 😝

... Read moreHaving tried different methods to manage my ADHD symptoms, I recently decided to supplement my routine with mushroom coffee, inspired by trends showing functional mushrooms promote cognitive health. RYZE mushroom coffee caught my eye because it combines several beneficial mushrooms known for their brain-supporting properties. Lion’s Mane is my favorite component due to its reputed ability to enhance neurogenesis and improve mental clarity—something critical when dealing with ADHD-related focus issues. In my daily life, I’ve noticed that traditional coffee often leads to a rapid energy spike followed by a crash, worsening my attention and sometimes increasing anxiety. The lower caffeine content in this mushroom coffee seemed promising for offering steadier energy. Throughout the month, consuming this coffee each morning became a ritual. The packaging and included acacia wooden spoon added an enjoyable, almost mindful quality to the experience. What stood out most was the absence of typical coffee jitters. On days when I drank it, my energy felt more balanced and sustained. One unexpected benefit was my mood stabilization. Reishi’s adaptogenic qualities might have contributed to a calmer mental state, which helped reduce stress and anxiety—common companions of ADHD. The practical takeaway: mushroom coffee could be a supportive addition to an ADHD self-care plan, particularly if you’re sensitive to caffeine or seeking to avoid energy crashes. However, it’s important to maintain realistic expectations and consult healthcare professionals before making it a staple. For those curious about functional mushrooms and their role in wellness, this experiment was enlightening. It confirmed that natural ingredients like Lion’s Mane, Cordyceps, and Reishi might offer more than just a health fad—they can subtly enhance brain function and energy management when integrated mindfully into one’s lifestyle. If you’re considering trying mushroom coffee for focus or energy, I recommend starting with a small quantity and tracking its effects over several weeks. Personal response can vary, but the potential for smoother energy and cognitive support makes it worth exploring.
