Before You Ask “WHY GOD!?”…Read This!

✨A Light 💡in the Night🌙

Good evening my blessed family. Tonight I was reflecting on the life of JOB, and it reminded me that even faithful believers sometimes face painful TRIALS. 🙏🏾📖 Job lost his children, his wealth, and his health, yet he had done nothing wrong. 💔🔥

Like many of us, Job cried out to God asking WHY. But the powerful part of the story is that God never explained the reason for his suffering. Instead, God revealed His POWER, MAJESTY, and AUTHORITY. 👑✨

That moment changed Job’s perspective. He realized that true FAITH is not based on understanding everything. It is based on TRUSTING the character of God. 🙏🏾

Suffering well means choosing PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE, and FAITHFULNESS even when life is confusing. God sees what we cannot see. And His plans are always GOOD. 🌅📖

🕊️Scriptures to Meditate On🙏🏾

... Read moreReflecting on the story of Job, I remember a time in my own life when I faced unexpected challenges that made me ask, "Why God?" Much like Job, I was confused and hurt, feeling as though my circumstances were unfair despite living a faithful life. What helped me find peace was shifting my focus from seeking reasons to trusting God’s plan and character. I learned that suffering well involves patience and perseverance—not in a passive way, but in actively choosing to maintain faith even when answers don’t come immediately. It’s in those moments of uncertainty that God’s power and majesty become most evident, as He works behind the scenes beyond our understanding. One practice that helped me was meditating on scriptures such as Job 42:2 and James 1:12, which remind us that God’s plans are ultimately good and that enduring trials strengthens our faith. Writing down my struggles and prayers, sharing them with my faith community, and embracing hope instead of despair transformed my experience from one of confusion to one of spiritual growth. The phrase from the image captured perfectly my own journey — "I don't understand, but I trust You, God." Embracing this mindset changed my approach to adversity. Instead of letting suffering break me, it became an opportunity to deepen my trust and rely more on God’s wisdom and timing. For anyone facing hard times, my encouragement is to lean into faith. Trust that, even when life’s reasons are hidden from us, God’s authority and love remain unshaken. Through patience and unwavering faith, we can find light in the darkest nights, just as Job did. Remember, hope and perseverance are not signs of weakness but powerful testimonies of enduring belief.
