You Don’t Have To Try Harder…
Let’s pray 🙏🏾 and get this day underway♥️!
Good morning my beautiful family ☀️🤎🙌🏾✨
Sometimes we think living for God means TRYING harder 💪🏾, DOING more 📝, and FIXING ourselves 🔧… but Galatians 5:25 reminds us that if we LIVE by the Spirit 🕊️, we should also WALK by the Spirit 🚶🏾♀️. That means this life isn’t about STRIVING 😩… it’s about SURRENDER 🙌🏾.
When you gave your life to Jesus ✝️, you received HELP 💡… real, daily, moment-by-moment GUIDANCE 🧭 through the Holy Spirit 🕊️. You don’t have to figure this out on your own 🤎. When we rely on SELF 🚫, we MISS the mark 🎯. But when we FOLLOW the Spirit ✔️, we walk in ALIGNMENT 🙏🏾.
The Spirit LEADS 🧭, CORRECTS ✋🏾, COMFORTS 🤍, and STRENGTHENS 💥. That means you can REST 😌 knowing you’re not alone. God never asked you to PERFORM 🎭… He asked you to OBEY 🗝️ and TRUST 🤎.
So today, don’t STRIVE… just WALK 🚶🏾♀️ with Him 🕊️✨.

In my own spiritual journey, I found a common pitfall is equating faith with constant effort and self-reliance. Before embracing the idea of walking by the Spirit, I often felt exhausted trying to 'fix' myself or prove my devotion through works alone. But incorporating a daily practice of prayer, like the one shared in the prayer image, opened my heart to rely more on the Holy Spirit's guidance than on my willpower. The Holy Spirit’s role is truly transformative—it leads us gently, corrects us with love, comforts us in hard moments, and strengthens us when we feel weak. By learning to surrender with trust rather than striving for perfection, I noticed more peace and clarity in my daily decisions and relationships. This doesn't mean complacency; it means actively tuning in to that inner prompt to obey and trust, letting God’s wisdom shape my steps. I also found that meditating on scriptures such as Galatians 5:25, Romans 8:14, and John 14:26 helped anchor this mindset. These verses remind us that living by the Spirit involves a continuous, patient walk—moment by moment—rather than a relentless push to 'do more.' It’s like moving in sync with a loving guide rather than struggling against current. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by expectations—whether from yourself or others—I encourage you to try this shift: pause, pray the prayer of asking for wisdom and sensitivity to the Spirit's guidance, then simply walk forward with trust. The freedom and rest that comes from surrendering your striving to God’s Spirit have brought me true joy and growth beyond what trying harder ever did.
