Only God Makes It Grow!

Good morning family 🤎🙏🏾☀️ Today the Lord sat me down in 1 Corinthians 3:7, and it reminded me how easy it is to forget our REAL role. Paul had to calm the church in Corinth because they were arguing about who they followed, who preached better, who sounded deeper. But he told them straight: the one who plants and the one who waters are nothing — GOD is the One who makes it GROW🌱🔥.
And that still hits today. As AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST, our job is simple: plant the seed🌱, water the truth💧, share our testimony🙌🏾, and love people well🤎. But the GROWTH, the CHANGE, the BREAKTHROUGH, the HEART SHIFT — that’s GOD’S WORK💥. We don’t save anybody. We don’t transform anybody. We don’t open spiritual eyes. GOD does the HEAVY LIFTING💪🏾🔥.
So today, stay faithful, stay humble, and stay in your lane. Do your part… and let God do what ONLY GOD can do✨.

When reflecting on the message "Only God Makes It Grow," I've found personal peace and renewed purpose in understanding the distinction between our efforts and God’s divine work. In my faith journey, it's easy to get caught up in trying to be the one who changes hearts or transforms lives, but this passage gently reminds me that our responsibility is to plant seeds of faith and nurture others with love and truth. The actual growth—whether it’s a breakthrough, healing, or change in perspective—is ultimately in God’s hands. One powerful way I’ve embraced this is through prayer. Recently, I prayed specifically for God to place certain people in my path who needed His touch. I asked for boldness and grace to be His instrument—to plant a seed with a kind word, a testimony, or simple acts of love. Trusting God with the growth has shifted my attitude from feeling pressured to perform to feeling privileged to participate. Moreover, being an ambassador for Christ isn't about competition or comparison, as Paul addressed in Corinth. It’s about humility: knowing our role, staying in our lane, and celebrating the work God does through others too. This realization fosters unity and encouragement within faith communities, rather than division. Sharing this perspective with others has been encouraging too. It reminds me that when we water each other's faith with encouragement and truth without judgment or trying to control the outcome, we reflect God’s love better. This approach also nurtures patience and faith, as spiritual growth often takes time and can be unseen at first. Meditation on verses like Acts 2:47 and John 6:44 enriches this understanding. They reinforce that God draws people to Himself, and our roles as believers are vital yet dependent on His sovereign timing. In everyday life, whether you are sharing your testimony on social media, volunteering, or simply being kind to those around you, remember to plant and water with faith, love, and humility. Then, trust God to do the heavy lifting, because only He can make it grow.
