I've been on my own journey, and this daily cranberry, pineapple, and ACV drink has become a game-changer for me. But the big question I often get is: *how long does it take for bromelain to work?* Let’s dive into that! Pineapple is a star ingredient in my daily drink, and it’s famous for containing an enzyme called bromelain. Bromelain is a powerful proteolytic enzyme, meaning it helps break down proteins in your digestive system. This can be incredibly beneficial for speeding up digestion and reducing that uncomfortable post-meal heaviness. It's also known for its anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe an irritated gut. Now, to the core of the question: how long does it take to feel the effects of bromelain? It’s important to manage expectations, as everyone's body is unique, and results can vary. For acute issues like occasional bloating or indigestion after a heavy meal, some people might notice a difference within a few hours or a day of consuming pineapple or a bromelain-rich drink. You might feel less gassy and more comfortable. However, for more significant improvements in overall gut health, like consistently better digestion and regularity, it’s about consistency.
