From my experience, the process of figuring out what helps you pass better is deeply personal and varies for everyone. For me, small changes like adjusting clothing style, selecting hairstyles that suit a masculine aesthetic, and practicing a lower tone in my voice made a big difference. Confidence greatly influences how others perceive you; if you carry yourself authentically, people are more likely to see you as you want to be seen. It's also helpful to engage with supportive communities where honest and constructive feedback is welcomed. Whether you are early in your transition or have been living as FTM for years, understanding that passing is fluid and sometimes contextual can relieve pressure. Some days you might feel you pass perfectly, and on other days less so—and that's completely normal. Remember, passing is just one aspect of your journey. Embracing yourself fully, beyond how you are perceived, is key to true confidence and happiness.
