Things I stopped doing after embracing a slower sp

I used to think spirituality had to look aesthetic, perfect, and Instagram-worthy.

Now some of my favorite practices are the simplest ones.

Opening the windows on a cool morning.

Making tea before everyone wakes up.

Watching the sunset without reaching for my phone.

Noticing how the seasons change the way I feel.

The closer we get to the Summer Solstice, the more I’m reminded that growth doesn’t always happen in big dramatic moments.

Sometimes it looks like slowing down enough to actually notice your life.

What’s one small ritual that helps you feel grounded lately? 🌿✨

... Read moreWhen I first started embracing a slower spiritual practice, I realized how much I had been caught up in the idea that spirituality had to be grand or visually perfect. Letting go of that notion, I found that the simplest actions brought the most peace and connection. One small ritual that truly transformed my daily life was starting my mornings with a cup of tea before the world awoke. This quiet moment allows me to set a calm tone for the day, helping me to become more present rather than rushing into tasks. Another practice I cherish is opening my windows on cool mornings; feeling the fresh air reminds me of nature’s rhythms and renews my energy. As the seasons change, I also take time to notice how my mood and energy shift. The pointers in the image about following the rhythm of the seasons and seasonal journaling have helped me track this natural flow, deepening my connection to the earth. Watching the sunset without distractions like my phone keeps me grounded, encouraging mindfulness and appreciation for small, beautiful moments. I used to think I needed elaborate tools or intense productivity to feel spiritually connected, but rest and simplicity have become equally important. Trusting in rest as a vital part of spiritual growth has been liberating. This slower approach has brought me more genuine peace and helped me realize that growth doesn’t have to be dramatic; sometimes it’s simply about noticing life as it happens. I encourage anyone looking to deepen their spiritual practice to start with the small rituals that feel meaningful to them—whether it’s a nature walk, journaling, or simply pausing to breathe deeply each day. These tiny habits can offer profound grounding and joy, especially as we align ourselves with natural cycles like the Summer Solstice.
