Getting Things Done ✅
Monday we had a list of things to do, and was able to do at least half. but I definitely finally planted my entire raised bed out and will be working on the next one at the end of this month.
and of course I had to give you a tour of the lady's set up and the new baby girls that are outside! I'm so happy spring has arrived 🌱
I was pretty much exhausted at the end of the day, all I knew was that I went to lay down and I got up the next morning 🌄

This article details a personal gardening adventure, where I planted not only carrots and lettuce in my raised bed but also sweet potato bags and herbs! As spring arrives, it's the perfect time to embrace backyard gardening. Whether you're working on a homestead or an urban garden, incorporating vegetables like beans and sweet potatoes can lead to a bountiful harvest. In addition to the plants, I also took the opportunity to tour our chicken coop and discuss the integration of new chickens into the flock. Proper care and a secure environment are crucial for raising backyard chickens, especially if you're forming a mixed flock of older and younger birds. Utilizing a chicken run can help ensure safety and harmony during this process. If you're new to gardening or considering starting a backyard homestead this spring, think about what crops are best suited for your climate and space. Local community groups or online forums can provide invaluable resources and support. Gardening is not only rewarding but can also enhance your home with fresh produce right from your backyard!
