At night, the focus shifts to repair and nourishment. Double cleansing again helps clear away makeup and pollutants accumulated throughout the day. After toning, I use a more concentrated serum, often with ingredients like hyaluronic acid or peptides. If I'm incorporating retinol, I apply it after the serum since it works best on clean skin. To finish, a richer moisturizer helps seal in all the goodness and supports overnight skin regeneration. Consistency and paying attention to your skin's needs matter most. For example, if your skin feels dry, adding a hydrating serum or switching to a creamier moisturizer can make a big difference. Remember, layering skincare isn't just about piling on products but about building a protective and nurturing routine tailored to your skin type and concerns.
