How I survived a home invasion

I stayed home from school one day because I had bronchitis so when everyone went to work I fell back to sleep and I got woken up to something knocking on my window (the curtains were closed no one could see in) and someone trying to shine a light through the cracks. Fear immediately set in and I went into survival mode. He was walking around my house when I realized what was happening I called my dad because I didn’t know how to dial 911 into my new phone so he called the cops for me. I snuck into my bathroom and locked the doors. When I realized the door locks from the outside and the front door opened and he walked in I started having a panic attack thinking I was going to die. I immediately snapped out of it and realized I had a Great Dane so I took her out of her kennel and she scared him away. Cop got there just in time. I am so very thankful for those cops that day, and my dog sadly my dad started dating someone new and she got rid of that dog. please educate your children on how to call 911 even if you think they already know how to dial it.#storytime #lemon8contest #warning #educateyourself I now have ptsd but I am now 18 and thriving
