Surviving a Home Invasion 🚔
When I was 11 years old, my home was invaded by a group of masked tool welding men at 2am on a friday night. What woke me up was hearing what sounded like a battering RAM (police equipment), then the front door swung open, and I heard multiple sets of heavy footsteps. When that happened, I rolled under my bed and hid myself in a blanket. I just watched from under my bed in horror as my father tried to protect us, He got jumped, and we lost everything we had of value in about 20 minutes. After the thieves were done in the living room 2 men smashed my door open and Raided my room, it was very hard not to cry and scream, they took what felt like hours trying to steal valuables, then when they were done with me they headed out the front door. Once i heard the thieves Tear off down the road i went out to the living room to check on my parents, my dad was pretty beat up, and my mom was Traumatized at the events, And that's when i knew i couldnt stand to see myself or my family in a position where we are Groveling for our lives to a group of masked killers.
