Crunchwrap Recipe
Mine was heart shaped for V-Day week!
Recipe 🌮🌯
(4 Servings)
Ingredients:
♥︎ 5 Burrito sized tortillas (1 to cut in fourths for the center)
♥︎ 1 can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
♥︎ 1 jalapeño
♥︎ 1 tomato (I only had small ones)
♥︎ 1/2 onion
♥︎ 1/2 tsp garlic powder
♥︎ 1/2 tsp chili powder
♥︎ 1/2 tsp paprika
♥︎ 1/2 tsp cumin
♥︎ 1/4 tsp salt
♥︎ 1 tbsp hot sauce
♥︎ 1/4 c sour cream
♥︎ 1 c shredded lettuce
♥︎ 1/4 c salsa (or any kind of sauces!)
♥︎ 1/4 c cheese sauce
Additional tips/notes:
I recommend playing around with flavors and ingredients! Next time I want to add minced garlic instead of garlic powder, and save the tomatoes for toppings instead of cooking them in the pan. Also, use as much of the toppings as your heart desires but be careful not to overfill it.

If you’re looking to elevate your cooking game, this Black Bean Crunchwrap is a fantastic choice! This heart-shaped variation adds a sweet touch for special occasions like Valentine's Day, making it not just a meal, but a theme! Crunchwraps are versatile and can be customized with a variety of fillings beyond black beans. You can experiment by including seasoned ground beef, seasoned chicken, or even grilled vegetables for a vegetarian-friendly option. For the crispy texture, the key is to warm your tortillas slightly before assembling. This ensures that they fold more easily without tearing. Then, layering your ingredients correctly will help keep everything in place during cooking. Be sure to allow some space in the middle for toppings; using a small tostada or a tortilla chip can keep your filling from oversaturating your tortilla. Don't forget about the sauces – a dollop of sour cream, your favorite salsa, or a drizzle of hot sauce can really enhance the flavor profile. Whether you're cooking for a crowd or enjoying a cozy night in, these Crunchwraps are sure to please. Lastly, pairing them with sides like guacamole or a light salad can round off the meal beautifully. Enjoy cooking and don't be afraid to get creative with your flavors!
