toby’s first birthday! (a college puppy)

this past weekend, we celebrated toby’s first birthday. as a college dog mom I of course had to do this up big.

toby is my first child and has brought so much joy and light into my life since getting him.

I don’t think people truly understand the amount of love you can have for a dog until you have one.

i’ve grown up with dogs but toby is the first dog that is truly mine. we moved to new york city together and hes been by my side every single day.

with all this being said you best believe we were gonna go all out.

I made him some dog safe pancakes and gave him his presents in the morning.

we then went to the dog park where he got to play with all his friends.

afterwards my friend and I made him do a photoshoot with his bday outfit (he was less than enthused) but he did it like a champ.

ending off the night he got a little icecream cup to celebrate.

overall I think he had a very special day! 🎂
